Privacy policy

This policy explains what BuyerPen (operated by Henosis Labs) collects, why, and who can see it.
What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email, brokerage, license and MLS ids). Offer content: the property, listing details and documents, buyer and seller names and contact details, the terms you enter, and the documents you attach. Technical data such as IP address, browser, and timestamps, which we keep as part of each offer’s history.
Why we collect it
To run the service: producing the agreement PDF, sending signing requests and offer packets, and showing a team its own offers. To keep a record of what was offered, signed, and sent, and when. We do not sell personal information and we do not use offer content for advertising.
Who can see it
The agent who created the offer, and owners, admins, and assistants on their team. The buyers, through their signing links. The listing agent and anyone else you address a packet to. Service providers we use to run BuyerPen: hosting and database (Railway), email delivery (SendGrid), electronic signature (LinkFeather), and payments (Stripe), each only for their function. Your transaction-management system, if you launched the offer from it, and SellerTell, if you attached a disclosure from it.
Buyers
If you are a buyer who received a signing link, your agent controls that offer. Contact them, or us at the address below, to correct or delete your information, subject to the agent’s record-keeping obligations.
Retention
Offers and their history are kept while the account is active and for up to seven years afterward, reflecting typical real estate record-keeping requirements, unless you ask us to delete them sooner and no legal duty prevents it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Signing links and sign-in tokens are random and expire. Access is limited to the people and roles described above.
Your choices
You can update your account details in the app and request an export or deletion by emailing support@buyerpen.com.
